Service Description

Maintenance (MLD) massage is frequently recommended by plastic surgeons in recovery phase following cosmetic liposuction. This specialized form of massage is generally believed to decrease recovery time and improve results, by reducing post-surgical swelling and fibrosis (scar tissue formation) Maintenance Massage start after a month of surgery to keep up with repair processes of connective tissue. When the accumulation of connective tissue is significant (known as ‘fibrosis’ or scarring) this process thickens the tissue and decreases its pliability. Excessive fibrosis may be felt by hand, may restrict motion or produce feelings of tightness, and may even be visually noticeable. Scarring will naturally diminish with time as the tissue gradually remodels itself, but this process can be long and some scarring is likely to be permanent. Package of 5 sessions, once a week, then every 2 weeks until one month sessions.

Cancelation Policy

24-hour minimum notice is required for all cancellations or rescheduling of any service. If you miss your appointment or cancel, with less than a 24-hour notice, the total amount will be charged and no refund apply. This policy is in place out of respect for our technicians and our clients. Canceling or rescheduling with less than 24-hour notice is a difficult space to fill. By giving last minute notice or no notice at all, you prevent someone else from being able to schedule into that time slot. Showing up more than 15 mins late prevents your technicians’ ability to provide a full service to you and creates a domino effect and runs behind on all clients to follow. By giving a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the Cancellation Policy. All Spa Products, Series, Gift Certificate, Gift Card, Promotions, and Sales are final and non-refundable.
