Service Description

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), sometimes called manual lymphatic therapy, uses light touch to move excess lymph and fluid out of the tissues and back into the lymphatic vessels. Although often referred to as a type of massage, MLD is very different from traditional forms of massage that rely on deep and rigorous rubbing. MLD is recommended as a component of Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) but is often used in combination with other treatments. MLD in isolation is effective but a combination of the parts of CDT is optimal. CDT has been shown to be effective in reducing lymphedema volume and improving quality of life patient mobility. Usually performed with the patient in the lying position Starts and ends with deep diaphragmatic breathing. Moves proximal to distal to drain the affected areas. Slow and rhythmical movements Uses gentle pressure to Improve blood circulation and stimulates the immune system. Reduce swelling and pain after the surgery. Promote detoxification on the body. Cancellation Policy

24-hour minimum notice is required for all cancellations or rescheduling of any service. If you miss your appointment or cancel, with less than a 24-hour notice, the total amount will be charged and no refund apply. This policy is in place out of respect for our technicians and our clients. Canceling or rescheduling with less than 24-hour notice is a difficult space to fill. By giving last minute notice or no notice at all, you prevent someone else from being able to schedule into that time slot. Showing up more than 15 mins late prevents your technicians’ ability to provide a full service to you and creates a domino effect and runs behind on all clients to follow. By giving a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the Cancellation Policy. All Spa Products, Series, Gift Certificate, Gift Card, Promotions, and Sales are final and non-refundable.
